Noteisha Womack, Women’s Basketball

Senior Noteisha Womack was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll after notching two more double-doubles last week against Louisville and Marquette. Womack joins Ela Mukosiej as the only player to earn Honor Roll status three times in a season. Womack, the nation’s leading rebounder with 13.9 per game, started the week with 14 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks at the 10^th ranked Cardinals. The Pirates returned home to face the Golden Eagles on Jan. 10, and Womack led the way to victory with 16 points and 17 rebounds. She leads the BIG EAST with 11 double-doubles this season.
