John Garcia, Men’s Basketball

Senior John Garcia may have had the best game of his career vs. Connecticut on Feb. 14.  The 6-foot-9 center scored a career-high 22 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and tied his career-high with six blocks. He was 10-for-13 from the floor and played 34 minutes. Garcia also had a solid all-around game in a 72-49 drubbing of DePaul on Feb. 10. He had six points, five boards, and four blocks in 32 minutes of action. Garcia now ranks fourth in the BIG EAST averaging 1.9 blocks per game.
