Sophomore pitcher Joe DiRocco was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after earning the victory in the rubber-game of the baseball team’s series at Notre Dame. DiRocco tossed seven scoreless innings allowing only four hits. The second year starter faced the minimum three batters in four of his seven innings, while not facing more then five hitters in an inning. The win improved DiRocco’s record to 2-1 on the season.
