
Track and Field Women Shine at Raleigh Relays

Hayes was the runner-up in the 400-meter dash and clocked in at 54.82, missing an NCAA Regional qualifying time by just .21 seconds. She also hit a time of 14.39 in the preliminary heats of the 100-meter hurdles for her second postseason bid.
Brathwaite will join Hayes in the 100-meter hurdle event, after crossing the tape in 14.05. Her time was just .13 shy of earning a spot at the NCAA Regionals. In the 400-meter hurdles, Brathwaite ran a time of 1:01.77, and is about a second behind the Regional mark.
