Meghan Matusiak, Volleyball
Sophomore Meghan Matusiak was named to the BIG EAST Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll after helping the Pirates get into the win column during the opening weekend of conference play. Matusiak was key in a 3-2 victory over Georgetown on Saturday, posting a match-high 18 kills including four in the deciding set. With Seton Hall trailing, 10-7, in the fifth frame, the left-handed opposite hitter sparked an 8-0 run to erase a three-point deficit with four kills and a block to preserve the victory. She averaged a solid 3.31 kills per set and posted six blocks in the three matches.
