SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Seton Hall head women's golf coach Sara Doell has announced the spring 2010 schedule for the program, which kicks off with a spring break trip to Port St. Lucie, Fla. and a duel-match against Rutgers on Mar. 12 at PGA Village.
"I am excited about the schedule that we have put together for the spring," said Doell. "We will start our competitive season in Florida for Spring Break where we will play a match against Rutgers after having a solid week of practice in the Port St. Lucie area. Our first tournament will be in Williamsburg at the William and Mary Invitational which historically has had a very strong field. We will then get into more BIG EAST play when we travel to Georgetown and to Florida to play in an event hosted by Cincinnati. We will finish the season competing at the BIG EAST Championship for the first time in school history."
"The team has come up with both individual and team goals for the spring and we have developed strong action plans to reach these goals," Doell added. "We will be working hard in the off-season in the gym to gain strength and flexibility. We will also have weekly team meetings with different speakers coming in to help give the team more tools that may help the team save strokes this spring."
