SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The Seton Hall volleyball team finished its BIG EAST season at 7-7 and will now head into the conference championship after falling to Notre Dame on Sunday, 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-17). The Pirates (13-17, 7-7) honored seniors Megan Murison (Woodridge, Ill.) and Sarah Osmun (Crystal Lake, Ill.) in a pre-match ceremony.
Seton Hall will be the No. 7 seed and face No. 2 seed Louisville at 3:30 p.m. on Friday in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Osmun led the Hall with 10 kills, while junior Meghan Matusiak (Winfield, Ill.) brought her career total to 999 kills by picking up nine. Freshman Alyssa Warren (Joliet, Ill.) led all players with 17 digs.
