Karina Cordero, Tennis

Freshman Karina Cordero went 2-0 in singles matches and added another two victories with doubles partner Michelle Weerasinghe to help the Pirates win a pair of dual matches last week. Cordero played the No. 4 singles position and topped Towson's Cassandra Ng and Navy's Dyuti Das in straight sets. In doubles, her and Weerasinghe won both matches convincingly, 8-4.
