Amy Ruhe, Women's Soccer

Freshman Amy Ruhe scored a pair of goals to guide the women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory at FDU on Sunday for the Pirates' first win of the season. Ruhe began the scoring when she received a pass from Taylor Wilson in the 30^th minute, beating Knights goalkeeper Stephanie Tanzi. After the break, Ruhe recorded her second of the game on a corner kick. Junior Nicki Gross'initial strike deflected off Wiebke Balke straight to Ruhe who headed the ball past Tanzi.
