John Dawson Neufeld, Men's Golf
Junior John Dawson Neufeld, playing in his second career tournament as a member of the Seton Hall men's golf team, won the individual crown at the Rutgers Invitational on Saturday. Neufeld entered Saturday at even-par, three strokes off the individual lead. The junior college transfer fired a 3-under-par, 69, to win the tournament with a three-round score of 74-68-69-211 and finish 2-under-par overall. Neufeld's individual victory is the first for the Pirates since Kyle Morris won the George Washington Invitational on March 26, 2006.
