| The Seton Hall Pirates compete at a number of outstanding facilities, including historic Walsh Gymnasium and the $375 million dollar Prudential Center in downtown Newark, home of the men's basketball team. The Pirates' on-campus facilities include the Richie Regan Recreation Center, Owen T. Carroll Field and Essex County Mike Sheppard, Sr. Field at the adjacent Ivy Hill Park. The Richie Regan Recreation Center is home to Historic Walsh Gymnasium, the home court for SHU women's basketball and volleyball. The versatile recreation center also holds the Richard and Sheila Regan Field House, a multi-purpose facility used by varsity athletics and recreation, the varsity student-athlete weight room, and the Arthur E. Imperattore Natatorium. Owen T. Carroll Field hosts Seton Hall's men's and women's soccer programs in the fall, and the Pirate baseball team during the spring. The softball team plays at Mike Sheppard, Sr. Field, located just off the southeast corner of campus. |
