Mike Genovese, Baseball Sophomore Mike Genovese hit .429 (6-for-14) with three RBI and pitched 3.2 scoreless innings of relief to help SHU go 2-2 last week. Genovese earned a start at second base against FDU and went 2-for-3 from the dish in a 13-0 romp of the Knights. He also pitched a scoreless ninth inning to preserve the shutout. Genovese keyed a sixth inning comeback of the Pirates' win over St. John's on Sunday with a double to tie the game, 3-3. SHU would go on to score three more times in the inning to claim a 6-3 victory.
