Seton Hall Athletics was awarded a Gold award (highest honors) in the category of Student Promotion for its 2010-2011 men's basketball student season ticket campaign, "Perfect Attendance." Seton Hall beat out Texas A & M and Louisiana State University, the other finalists in the category. The winners were presented their awards during NACMA's 20th Annual Convention, June 16-18 in Orlando. The awards ceremony occurred today, Friday, June 17.
For the 2010-2011 season, Seton Hall students were able to obtain a full refund on their season ticket purchasing price of $75 by attending all 15 men's basketball home games played at the Prudential Center. For the first time in five years the student section was completely sold out on a season ticket basis and had to be expanded to accommodate single game ticket purchasers. Seton Hall Athletics thanks the entire student body for helping to make the 2010-2011 men's basketball season ticket campaign a tremendous success.
