Junior Jon Prosinski earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second straight week after going the distance in a 3-0 win over Rutgers in the Pirates' BIG EAST opener. Prosinski surrendered just five hits and did not allow a walk on his way to his second shutout in as may starts. The right-handed hurler leads the team with four wins and 40.1 innings pitched, and is one of only two BIG EAST pitchers to record multiple shutouts to this point in the season. Prosinski ranks seventh in the BIG EAST among qualifying pitchers with a 2.90 ERA and closed the week riding an 18-inning scoreless streak.
