SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The early weeks of the new year have brought new developments to the Richie Regan Athletic Center as construction continues on the multi-million dollar renovation project.
Progress outside the building is distinctly perceptible as extensive excavation has taken place and with the university recently receiving permission to remove ground water in the area, the foundation of a planned extension is set to be laid in the near future.
| The new scoreboard will also feature Seton Hall specific branding and is currently in assembly at the manufacturer in San Francisco, Calif. |
Also under construction is the new scoreboard set to grace Owen T. Carroll Field for the 2013 baseball season. The new board which will include a 10’x16’ LED video screen, will also be equipped to help enhance broadcasts on the Pirate Sports Network.
Ground broke on the multidimensional project earlier this fall and will yield a modernized facility replete with upgrades in a variety of areas that will undoubtedly add to an already vibrant community on Seton Hall’s South Orange campus.
