Pirate Blue BIG EAST Events A Success

The Pirate Blue Athletic Fund hosted two events surrounding the Big East Tournament this past week. On Monday, March 11, Pirate Blue hosted a fund-raiser with Coach Willard and Athletic Director, Patrick Lyons at the residence of Pirate Blue members Gerard Touhey '91 and Julie Kessler. The next night over 150 Pirate fans gathered at Hudson Station Bar and Grille for the annual pre-game party.
The inaugural fundraiser saw over 20 loyal supporters gather to hear a season wrap-up and special tournament preview from Coach Willard. The evening also included remarks from Pat Lyons who thanked all those in attendance for their support, "Our goal as an athletic department is to continue to create a culture of excellence for our student-athletes, alumni and fans, this will only happen with the philanthropic support from all the Seton Hall faithful".
The annual Big East Tournament pre-game reception at Hudson Station was another success as fans enjoyed food and open bar before the Pirates victory over South Florida.
Pirate Blue would like to thank all Pirate Blue members who attended these events for their continued support and generosity throughout this past season.
