Men's Golf Takes on Rutherford Int.

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Seton Hall men's golf team will resume the 2013 spring season with the Rutherford Intercollegiate, April 20-21, at Penn State University. The Penn State Blue Course will welcome a field of 14 teams. In addition to Seton Hall and host Penn State, competing teams include: Maryland, Youngstown State, Rutgers, Minnesota, Binghamton, Robert Morris, Ohio University, Xavier, Georgetown, Connecticut, Villanova and defending Rutherford team champion Bowling Green. This 14-team field will take on the par-71, 7,202-yard course that has been host to numerous events conducted by the USGA, FCWT, AJGA, IJGT, PGA Junior Series and the West Penn Golf Association. Seton Hall will be bringing David Cha (Carrollton, Texas), Brian Dempster (Robbinsville, N.J.), Gary Dunne (Wicklow, Ireland), JT Harper (Pebble Beach, Calif.) and Cory Wilson (Newton, N.J.).
The first 36 holes are set to begin with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 20. The final round is slated for another 7:30 a.m. tee time start on Sunday, April 21. Both start times will be pending weather conditions throughout the weekend. Complete results following each day’s competition will be available on www.SHUpirates.com.
