For the 5th consecutive year the Pirate Blue Beefsteak Tip-Off Dinner in Walsh Gymnasium is SOLD OUT!
We would like to thank all of our fans, alumni and sponsors for supporting this event and look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, September 25th!
At this year’s dinner we will be offering student-athlete hosted tours through the Charles W. Doehler Academic Center, which is currently under construction (set for completion later this Fall), as well as the newly completed Center for Sports Medicine. Tours will begin at 6 p.m. and continue through the evening.
A big part of the Beefsteak Dinner is our extensive silent auction with over 150 items up for bid. Some items you will see include:
- Travel with the Men’s Basketball team to a BIG EAST away game
- Serve as guest head coach during the men’s or women’s blue and white scrimmage on October 5th in Walsh Gym
- Go skydiving with head men’s coach, Kevin Willard
- Co-host WSOU men’s basketball post game show, “Hall Line”
- Official 1989 Game Program Signed by P.J. Carlesimo
- 2011 BIG EAST Conference Banner from Walsh Gym
- Basketball signed by all of the 2011 Big East Head Coaches
- 4 Giants v. Cowboys tickets in a MetLife Stadium luxury suite
- Original NY Giants Super Bowl Painting signed by Eli Manning, Phil Simms, David Tyree & Otis Anderson
