
Wilson, Go Lead Men's Golf to Fifth Place Finish

LEMONT, ILL. - Sophomore Cory Wilson (Newton, N.J.) fired an even-par, 72, in the third and final round of the 2013 John Dallio Memorial Tournament at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club to lead the Seton Hall men's golf team to a fifth place team finish.
The fifth place finish is the Pirates' first top-five since winning the Manor Intercollegiate on April 14, 2012.
Collectively, Seton Hall shot a 57-over-par, 299-317-305-917, and finished 25 shots behind the team champion, IUPUI. The Pirates lone BIG EAST competition in the tournament, DePaul, finished in third place at 39-over-par.
Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) had Seton Hall's low tournament score for a fourth straight event, finishing with an 11-over-par, 73-77-77-227. The freshman tied for 13th place among 63 individual golfers.
Wilson's big third round boosted him to a top-20 finish. The sophomore tied for 19th overall with a 14-over-par, 78-80-72-230.
Juniors JT Harper (Pebble Beach, Calif.) and Derrick Kim (New City, N.Y.) tied for 27th overall with a 17-over-par, 233. Harper shot a 74-82-77-233, while Kim fired a 76-78-79-233.
Sophomore David Cha (Carrollton, Texas) had a rough third round and finished with a 32-over-par, 76-83-89-248 to round out the team scoring.
Freshman Kevin O'Brien (Wexford, Pa.), competing as an individual, used a strong third round to tie Cha for 52nd place with a 32-over-par, 83-90-75-248.
Seton Hall will return to the links in two weeks when it travels to Philadelphia for the annual Big-5 Classic, Oct. 12-13.
