
Pirates in 10th at Yale After Two Rounds

NEW HAVEN, CONN. - Macky Fouse (Aliquippa, Pa.) and Megan Tenhundfeld (Loveland, Ohio) each shot a 6-over-par, 77, in round two of the 2015 Yale Women's Intercollegiate and have led the Seton Hall women's golf team to a 10th place team standing with 18 holes remaining.
Fouse put together her second straight strong round and is currently the Pirates' leader after two rounds. She was just 1-over-par on the front nine, but ran into some difficulty on the back. Overall, she is tied for 27th place among 86 individual golfers at 11-over-par with a 76-77-153.
Tenhundfeld shaved one stroke off her first round score and is currently 13-over-par with a 78-77-155 after two rounds. She is tied for 40th place overall.
Collectively, Seton Hall needed five more strokes in Saturday's second round. Its two-day total is a 53-over-par with a 308-313-621. The Hall trails the team leader, Furman, by 43 strokes. The Pirates are just two strokes behind Georgetown, their only BIG EAST competition.

The Field:
Seton Hall will compete among one of the most-competitive fields for a regular season tournament in recent memory. The 2015 field features 16 teams, including five Ivy League schools and participants from the ACC, SEC and Big Ten Conferences. In addition to Seton Hall and two teams from host Yale, competitors include: Boston Univ., Boston College, Clemson, Columbia, Furman, Georgetown, Harvard, IUPUI, LIU-Brooklyn, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Princeton and Vanderbilt. Both Clemson and Vanderbilt are currently ranked in GolfWeek's Top-30.

Designed by champion golfer and co-founder of the USGA Charles Blair Macdonald, the par-71, 6,044-yard Yale Golf Course is an exemplar of the early American golf course and has consistently been voted the number one college golf course in America.
