
Pirates Wrap Up Fall Season at Lady Blue Hen Invitational

REHOBOTH BEACH, DEL. - The Seton Hall women's golf team will complete the 2015 fall season with three rounds of golf at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational, hosted by the University of Delaware, Oct. 24-25.

The Field:
The 2015 field features 14 teams. In addition to Seton Hall and two teams from host Delaware, competitors include: Albany, Central Connecticut State, Delaware State, Georgetown, Harvard, Lehigh, Monmouth, Navy, Pennsylvania, Rollins and Towson.
The Course:
Rehoboth Beach Country Club is the best golf course on the Eastern Shore inspiring golfers of all skill levels. Offering multiple tees, sculpted greens and fairways, challenging bunkers and ponds, as spectacular views greet golfers at every turn. Its proximity to the Rehoboth Bay provides a variety of changing winds and weather conditions which influence and enhance the experience.
Rehoboth Beach Country Club was the first golf course in Delaware to receive the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary designation from Audubon International in 2001. It is described as helping "golf courses protect our environment and preserve the natural heritage of the game of golf." Being located in the fragile inland bay region, Rehoboth Beach Country Club embraces this effort and is proud to be one of only 906 courses world-wide to receive this designation.
The Lineup:
This weekend, Seton Hall will bring (1) Megan Tenhundfeld (Loveland, Ohio), (2) Macky Fouse (Aliquippa, Pa.), (3) Cassie Pantelas (Canton, Ohio), (4) Karlie Zabrosky (Erie, Pa.) and (5) McKenzie Cutter (Myrtle Beach, S.C.).
Last Tournament:
Tenhundfeld shot a 3-over-par, 74, in the final round as the Pirates finished 14th at the 2015 Yale Women's Intercollegiate.
Tenhundfeld's 74 was the lowest single round of any Pirate that weekend and enabled her to tie for 33rd place among 86 individual golfers. For the tournament, she finished with a 16-over-par, 78-77-74-229.
Collectively, Seton Hall shot a 34-over-par, 318, in the final round. For the three-round event, it was 87-over-par with a 308-313-318-939.
Tee Times:
The golfers will play two consecutive rounds on Friday with a shotgun start beginning the event at 8:30 a.m. Seton Hall will be paired with golfers from Albany and Lehigh. Sunday's third round will also begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Pairings will be based on the tournament's results through two rounds.
