CHARLOTTE - The Seton Hall men's basketball team is headed to Disney World for Thanksgiving in 2016. ESPN Events, a division of ESPN, has announced that the Pirates are one of eight teams to participate in the 2016 AdvoCare Invitational Nov. 24-27 at HP Field House at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando. Joining The Hall in the field are Florida, Gonzaga, Indiana State, Iowa State, Miami (Fla.), Quinnipiac and Stanford.
The Pirates annually participate in non-conference multi-team exempt tournaments, having appeared at the Paradise Jam (2010, 2014), Charleston Classic (2011, 2015), Hall of Fame Tip-Off (2012), and Coaches vs. Cancer Classic (2013) during head coach Kevin Willard's tenure. The Pirates are 14-6 in these tournaments since Willard came aboard, including a Paradise Jam championship in 2014.
