SARASOTA - Sophomore Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) and junior Ryan Snouffer (Sparta, N.J.) were named to the Division I PING Men's Golf All-Northeast Region Team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Monday.
A total of 155 players across six regions - Northeast, East, Southeast, Midwest, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2015.
The recognition comes two weeks after both were named to the 2015 All-BIG EAST Team.
Go earns the impressive distinction for a second straight year, proving a lack of a "sophomore slump." A starter in all 11 tournaments, he led the team with a 73.08 stroke average during the spring season and won his first career tournament, the Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational, in March. Most recently, Go tied for third at the 2015 BIG EAST Championship with a 3-over-par, 80-70-69-219. His pair of sub-par rounds in the conference's marquee event added to his year total of six in 2014-15.
Snouffer also played in all 11 tournament this year and led the Pirates with a 72.75 stroke average during the fall season. A newcomer to the team after transferring from Adelphi, he led the team with five, top-10 finishes in 2014-15 and recorded seven sub-par rounds. In one of the single-best tournament performances in Seton Hall history, Snouffer shot a career-low 4-under-par with a 69-72-71-212 to finish second at the Hartford Hawks Invitational. He also shot 1-under-par at the Navy Fall Classic to help lead the Pirates to a team title. One hundred percent of his rounds this year contributed to the team's score.
