BEDMINSTER, N.J. - The Seton Hall women' golf team will return to the links this weekend when it concludes the 2016 fall season by hosting the Pirate Invitational at Trump National, October 28-29.

The Course:
Trump's "New Course," is a par-72, 5,802-yard gem designed and built by Tom Fazio, who has worked closely with Donald Trump as his in-house golf course designer and builder for almost a decade.  The New Course literally frames the Old Course, transforming every inch of available land into a handcrafted masterpiece. With a mix of wooded and open spaces and even more elevation changes, The New Course is distinctly different and boasts old school characteristics such as smaller greens and bunkers.
The Field:
In addition to Seton Hall, the field is comprised of 13 other teams including: University of Albany, Central Connecticut State University, Creighton University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, University of Hartford, Hofstra University, Illinois State University, Lamar University, Lehigh University, Long Island University - Brooklyn, Monmouth University, University of Nebraska-Omaha and South Dakota State University.

Last Time at Trump National:
This is the Pirates' third time hosting a tournament on the "New Course" at Trump National. Only two current Pirates, Pantelas and Fouse, have played the tournament before. In the spring of 2015, Seton Hall placed sixth among 12 teams with a 51-over-par, 318-309-627. Pantelas tied for 29th with a 15-over-par, 79-80-159. Fouse, competing as an individual, shot a 28-over-par, 87-85-172. Both players were freshmen.Â

In 2014, Seton Hall finished third among 17 teams with a 63-over-par, 328-311-639, amidst cold and damp conditions.Â

Georgia, the 2015 champion, holds the tournament record with a 23-over-par, 297-302-599.

Last Time Out:
Pantelas fired a 3-over-par, 74, in Sunday's final round as the Pirates improved to finish fourth at the 2016 Delaware Lady Blue Hen Invitational.

Pantelas tied for fourth among 60 individual golfers with a 16-over-par, 77-78-74-229. She finished six strokes behind Harvard's Anna Zhou, who won the individual title. For Pantelas, it's the sixth top-10 finish of her career, which ties her for seventh-most in Seton Hall history. It's also her fourth career top-5 finish.

Collectively, Seton Hall tied host Delaware for the top round of the day with a 21-over-par, 305. The Hall's Sunday performance enabled it to jump two spots in the team standings. For the three-round tournament, the Pirates finished with a 90-over-par, 313-324-305-942. Harvard won the team title at 68-over-par.

Tee Times:
The field will play one round on both Friday and Saturday, with competition beginning with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. both days. Seton Hall will be paired with golfers from Illinois State and South Dakota State in round one. Pantelas and Win will begin on the first hole, Staudt on the second hole and both Sager and Fouse on the third hole. Greene will start on the 17th hole, while Tomeo will begin her round on the 18th hole.
