Go, Pirates Remain Steady in UTEP Second Round

EL PASO, TEXAS – Senior Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) turned in his second straight sub-par round on Saturday, and the Seton Hall men's golf team is currently tied for sixth place after two rounds of the 2016 Price's "Give'em Five" Invitational.
Go fired a 1-under-par, 71, in round two and is currently tied for seventh place among 75 individual golfers. Through two rounds, he is 4-under-par with a 69-71-140, and trails a trio of leaders by four strokes with 18 holes remaining. Today's effort gives Go seven sub-par scores this fall in only 10 rounds. He has 34 for his career, which is a Seton Hall record.
Collectively, the Pirates shot a 12-over-par, 300, in round two, and are 11-over-par for the tournament with a 287-300-587. The Hall is tied for sixth with Texas State and San Jose State. UTEP is currently 20-under-par and leads the tournament by 11 strokes. Seton Hall's lone BIG EAST competition, Marquette, is currently in third place.
Gen Nagai (Mandaue Cebu City, Philippines) shot a 2-over-par, 74, on Saturday. He is currently even-par with a 70-74-144, and is tied for 21st place overall.
Sophomore Chris Yeom (Flushing, N.Y.) used a strong 2-under-par back nine holes, to finish his second round with a 3-over-par, 75. Through 36 holes, he is 4-over-par with a 73-75-148.
Junior Linus Yip (Sydney, Australia) and freshman Alex Chalk (Castle Douglas, Scotland) shot an 80 and 81 respectively on Saturday. Yip is currently 11-over-par with a 75-80-155, while Chalk is 16-over-par with a 79-81-160.
Freshman Alex McAuley (Douglas, Isle of Man) and senior Kevin O'Brien (Wexford, Pa.) also made the trip and are competing as individuals. O'Brien matched Go for the Pirates' best round of the day with a 1-under-par, 71. Through two rounds, he is 5-over-par with a 78-71-149. McAuley shot a 5-over-par, 77, today and is 9-over-par with a 76-77-153.

Tee Times:
The field will play one round on each of three days. Teams will begin teeing off at 10 a.m. ET on Friday and Saturday. There will be a 10:15 a.m. ET shotgun start on Sunday.
