Seton Hall Signs Golfer Mia Kness

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall head coach Sara Doell announced Thursday that Mia Kness (Venetia, Pa.) has signed a national letter of intent to play women's golf at Seton Hall University beginning in the fall of 2017.

"I am so excited that Mia is joining the Pirate family," Doell said. "She will be a perfect fit for our program and its strong culture. Mia loves the game of golf, is a strong competitor, and has been very humble through the success that she has enjoyed. Since she verbally committed to our program, she's gotten only better. I'm looking forward to watching her game flourish here at Seton Hall."

A talented golfer at Peters Township High School in McMurray, Pennsylvania, Kness shot an impressive 72-72-144 to win the PIAA High School Championship earlier this year. She also recently won the Hudson Junior Invitational with a 72-73-73-218 and the HJGT College Prep Series at Kent State University. Additionally, Kness qualified for the championship flight of the AWWGA Women's Western.
