Pirates Head to George Mason for Patriot Invitational

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall men's and women's swimming & diving teams kick off action on Thursday, Nov. 17 and will compete through Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Patriot Invitational hosted by George Mason at the Jim McKay Natatorium.
The Hall will compete against American, Drexel, Florida Atlantic, George Mason, Richmond, Shippensburg, UMBC and UNCW.
The men are off to an 8-1 start and picked up wins over Villanova and Georgetown at the Rutgers Quad meet on Nov. 4-5. On the women's side, the Hall sits at 5-6 and will look to right the ship after falling to Georgetown, Villanova and Rutgers at the Rutgers Quad meet.
Freshman Tyler Kauth (Wall, N.J.) picked up BIG EAST Swimmer of the Week honors following victories in the 100 and 200 backstroke. He also swam the opening leg of the winning 200 and 400 medley relay teams.
Freshman Sara Ouellette placed fifth in the 200 backstroke at the Rutgers quad meet with a time of 2:05.21, and was mentioned in the BIG EAST weekly honor roll.

The Pirates will compete in the U.S. Winter Nationals in Atlanta, Ga. on Dec. 1-3. Following a break, the Hall will then host a dual meet with Iona on Friday, Jan. 6 at 4 p.m. in South Orange.

- Diving (12 p.m.): Women's 1m and Men's 3m Prelims and Finals
- Prelims (10 a.m.): 100 IM, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, 1,650 free, time trials
