PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Seton Hall men's swimming & diving team impressed with two convincing victories in BIG EAST action at the Rutgers Quad Meet that concluded on Saturday afternoon. The Pirates defeated Georgetown, 235-115, and Villanova, 217-129.
The Pirates improve to 8-1 and 4-0 in the BIG EAST.
Reigning collgeswimming.com BIG EAST Swimmer of the Week Noah Yanchulis (Arnold, Md.) was victorious in the 200 free with a time of 1:42.52.
Freshman Joshua Tosoni (Arnold, Md.) continued to impress as he won the 100 breaststroke in 57.82 (1.49 seconds ahead of the rest of the field), while his winning 200 time of 2:04.85 was over four seconds ahead of the pack.

- Freshman Tyler Kauth (Wall, N.J.) won the 100 back in 51.90 and 200 back in 1:51.50.
- Sophomores Lior Grubert (Yehud-Monosson, Israel) (4:07.10) and Iva Michalovic (Glen Mills, Pa.) (4:09.54), along with junior Jonathan Bar-Eli (Givat-Ela, Israel) (4:11.43), finished 1-2-3 in the 400 individual medley.
- Victorious in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:33.59 engineered by the contingent of Kauth, Tosoni, freshman Connor Phillips (Cape Town, South Africa) and sophomore Dakota Williams (Noank, Conn.).
- Sophomore Kyle Nash (Katy, Texas) picked up his third victory of the season in the 200 fly with a time of 1:54.44.
