Dominique Mason Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Seton Hall women's volleyball junior Dominique Mason (Chicago, Ill.) was named to the BIG EAST Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

Mason had a huge impact on the Pirates winning a pair of BIG EAST Conference matches last weekend at Walsh Gym. The outside hitter erupted for a career-high 22 kills, with only three attack errors, for an impressive .487 attack percentage and three digs in a four-set victory over Georgetown on Friday. She followed that performance with a 16-kill night, with only four attack errors, in a five-set victory against Villanova on Saturday. Mason also had two digs and two blocks against the Wildcats. For the weekend, she averaged a team-best 4.22 kills per set and 4.39 points per set.

Creighton's Lydia Dimke earned BIG EAST Player of the Week honors. Villanova's Regan Lough was named Freshman of the Week. Joining Mason, members of the Weekly Honor Roll include: Butler's Anna Logan, Marquette's Jenna Rosenthal, St. John's Gaia Traballi and Xavier's Abbey Bessler.

Mason and the rest of the Pirates will return to action on Saturday, November 12 when they travel to Milwaukee for a match with Marquette. Match time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. ET.
