QUEENS, N.Y. - Playing for the second time in as many days, the Seton Hall tennis team fell to BIG EAST foe St. John's, 7-0, on the road Sunday.
The Pirates (7-8) are in the midst of a daunting close to the regular season in which the team will play five consecutive league opponents away from home leading into the BIG EAST Championship (April 28 - May 1).
In fifth singles, senior Julia Keenan (Greenland, N.H.) took the first set from Delia Arranz, but was edged in the next two as the Red Storm kept The Hall off the scoreboard.
With the team victory, the Red Storm improved to 6-0 against league opposition this spring and extended its over winning streak to four.
Seton Hall will travel to Providence next weekend to take on both DePaul and the Friars. Start-time for the matches with the Blue Demons (April 16) and PC (April 17) is slated for 1:00 p.m. on both days.
