Win Named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Seton Hall's Lizzie Win (Sylvania, Ohio) was named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week on Wednesday. It's the second straight week that a Seton Hall golfer earned the award with teammate Cassie Pantelas taking home the honor last week.

Win tied for fourth among 70 golfers at the Rutgers Invitational last weekend. The freshman shot an impressive 11-over-par, 76-73-78-227, to lead the Pirates at the tournament. Win becomes the first Pirate in program history to record top-5 finishes in her first two career tournaments. She tied for third two weeks ago at the William & Mary Invitational. Win's strong performance helped the Pirates tie for sixth as a team.

Win and the rest of the Pirates will return to action on Friday, October 7 for the first of three rounds of golf at the Yale Women's Intercollegiate.Â
