
Kness Named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Seton Hall freshman Mia Kness (Venetia, Pa.) was named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday.
Kness won the title of the Brown Bear Fall Invitational on the fourth playoff hole over teammate Maddie Sager to claim her first tournament championship in only five collegiate tournaments. She has played in the second-fewest tournaments before claiming her first victory in Seton Hall history. Kness fired three birdies in route to an even-par, 71, in Monday's final round to finish the tournament with a 1-under-par, 70-71-141. Kness and Sager set a new Seton Hall record for lowest par-71 two-round score.
The 2017 fall season has completed for the Pirates. Seton Hall will return to action this spring.
