Koska Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Seton Hall junior Caitlin Koska (Franklin Wis.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll on Tuesday.
Koska turned in one of her career-best performances in a crucial match at St. John's on Saturday. The outside hitter had 12 kills, only one attack error and a team-best .367 attack percentage. Not only was Koska dominant on offense, she also had five blocks and two digs on defense.
It's the first time Koska has earned the prestigious weekly honor. However, she is the fifth different Pirate to receive the honor this year joining teammates Abby Thelen (four times), Dominique Mason (three times), Sharay Barnes and Maggie Cvelbar.
Creighton's Lydia Dimke was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, while Brittany Witt was named Defensive Player of the Week. Xavier's Audrey Adams was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. Those joining Koska on the Honor Roll include: Butler's Makayla Ferguson, Georgetown's Symone Speech, Marquette's Anna Haak and Villanova's Allison Fitzgerald.
The Pirates will return to action on Friday, Nov. 17 when they return to Walsh Gymnasium to host Butler. Match time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET.
