Sager Named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Seton Hall sophomore Maddie Sager (Phoenixville, Pa.) was named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday.
Sager was the driving force behind Seton Hall's sixth place finish at the highly competitive Nittany Lion Invitational last weekend. The sophomore was the top Pirate performer for the tournament, tying for 15th place overall with a 6-over-par, 70-72-80-222. Sager has been the top Pirate performer in back-to-back weeks to start the spring season. She is averaging only 74.00 strokes per round and has two sub-par rounds to her credit so far this year.
The Pirates will return to the links this weekend for three rounds of golf at the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club.
