9/5/2017 11:41:00 AM | Men's Golf
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Former Seton Hall men's golfer Kyle Morris will be featured on The Golf Channel's "Morning Drive" on Wednesday, September 6.
Morris is currently the Owner and Director of Instruction of The Golf Room indoor training studio, located in Dublin, OH. Recently named to Golf Digest's list of the 100 "Best Young Teachers in America", Morris is a former touring professional (PGA Tour Latinoamérica, PGA Tour Canada, Web.com Tour) who accumulated five victories and more than 25, top-5 finishes worldwide. Upon graduation, he held the Seton Hall University record for lowest stroke average by any sophomore or junior, and in 2008 was named BIG EAST First Team All-Conference, a Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar and the recipient of the BIG EAST Sports Excellence Award.
Morris has been endorsed and mentored by many of the top instructors in the country, including Golf Digest Top 30 Teachers Mike Bender, Stan Utley, Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott. A Master TrackMan Professional, Morris understands that there is more to golf than just the swing and that it takes a full coaching philosophy. He takes time to understand each student's goals, commitment level and physical liabilities, and uses the most accurate assessments, drills and training aids—including TrackMan, K-Vest, BodiTrak, FocusBand and HeathMath—to maximize the golfer's opportunity to improve. Morris' goal is for every student to become their own coach. He teaches players how to practice more effectively so that they can create proper feelings, and therefore a lifetime of better golf.
The "Morning Drive" is a morning talk show devoted to golf on The Golf Channel. It will air from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
