NEW YORK – Seton Hall senior Chris Yeom (Flushing, N.Y.) was named BIG EAST Men's Golfer of the Week on Thursday.
It's the second time this fall that he's received the prestigious honor.
Yeom led Seton Hall into action at the highly competitive Mountaineer Intercollegiate earlier this week, and for the third straight tournament, he finished with the low score for the Pirates. Yeom finished the three-round event, tying for 16th place among 78 individual golfers with a 9-over-par, 78-70-77-225. His efforts helped lift The Hall to an 11th place team finish.
Yeom and the rest of the Pirates will return complete the fall season next week with three rounds of action at the Georgetown Intercollegiate, Oct. 15-16, at The Member's Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md.
