SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Senior Abby Thelen (Ft. Mitchell, Ky.) erupted for a match-high 23 kills, and Sophia Coffey (Sierra Madre, Calif.) tallied her 1,000th career dig as the Seton Hall women's volleyball team swept DePaul, 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-23), in the 2018 season finale on Saturday.
Thelen finished with 23 kills, only one attack error and a match-best .647 attack percentage.
Coffey had a double-double with a match-high 41 assists to go with 10 digs. She became the 14th player in Seton Hall history to top 1,000 career digs. Furthermore, Coffey joins Shelbey Manthorpe as the only players in Pirate history with more than 3,000 career assists and 1,000 digs.
