Florham Park, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought 4-3 match to LIU Brooklyn on Saturday evening at CenterCourt Sports.

The Blackbirds won the doubles point, but the Pirates fought back with singles victories at the No. 2, 3 and 4 spots by junior Anicka Fajnorova (Bratislava, Slovakia), sophomore Melody Taal and sophomore Michal Matson (St. Albans, New Zealand).

However, LIU Brooklyn edged The Hall in the five and six singles positions to secure the win.

Up next, the Pirates square off with Hofstra on Friday, March 3 at CenterCourt Sports in Florham Park, N.J. at 3 p.m.
