
Pirates Cruise Past Butler in Regular Season Finale

Indianapolis, Ind. – The Seton Hall women's tennis team cruised to a 6-1 victory in the BIG EAST and regular season finale at Butler on Saturday.
Senior Luize Strike (Riga, Latvia) and junior Anicka Fajnorova (Bratislava, Slovakia) registered a 6-1 win at the No. 1 doubles spot. Next, sophomores Melody Taal (Ede, Netherlands) and Michal Matson (St. Albans, New Zealand) secured the team doubles point with another 6-1 win at No. 3.
Strike, Fajnorova, Taal, Matson and sophomore Anniek Jansen (Naarden, Netherlands) all picked up wins during singles play to secure the victory for The Hall.
Up next, the Pirates head to Cayce, S.C. for the BIG EAST Championship April 26-29. The No. 5 seeded Pirates will take on No. 4 seed Xavier on Friday, April 27 at 12:30 p.m. Live stats will be available throughout the tournament.
