
Women's Golf 2018 Fall Schedule Released

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall head coach Natalie Desjardins announced the 2018 Seton Hall women's golf fall schedule on Tuesday. The Pirates will participate in four tournaments this fall.
The Pirates will begin competition this fall at the Nittany Lion Invitational. The three-round tournament hosted by Penn State will take place on the University's Blue Course, Sept. 22-23. Last year, The Hall placed sixth at the event with a 33-over-par, 292-299-306-897. Maddie Sager (Phoenixville, Pa.) led the Pirates with a 6-over-par, 70-72-80-222.
The following weekend, The Hall will travel to nearby Springdale Country Club for three rounds of golf at the Princeton Invitational. It will be the seventh time in nine years that the Pirates have participated in the event Most recently, the Pirates placed fifth last fall with a 63-over-par, 316-306-305-927. Mia Kness (Venetia, Pa.) and Lizzie Win (Sylvania, Ohio) tied for 12th place at 12-over-par. Seton Hall's best performance at Princeton came in 2014 when it finished fifth with a 63-over-par, 305-311-311-927.
Seton Hall will play three rounds at the Yale Women's Intercollegiate, Oct. 5-7. BIG EAST Championship aside, the Yale event is the only tournament that the Pirates have participated in all nine years of the program's existence. The Hall placed sixth in a rain-shortened 2017 event with a 30-over-par, 302-296-598. Sammie Staudt (Coatesville, Pa.) led The Hall with a 6-over-par, 75-73-148.
Finally, the Pirates will wrap up the fall season with the Lady Blue Hen Invitational, Oct. 20-21, at Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Del. Hosted by the University of Delaware, The Hall most recently played in this tournament in the fall of 2016. That year, the Pirates placed fourth with a 313-324-305-942. Win shot a 23-over-par, 80-79-77-236, as a freshman.
