Win Named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week

NEW YORK – Seton Hall junior Lizzie Win (Sylvania, Ohio) was named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday.
Junior Lizzie Win fired a second consecutive 2-under-par, 70, in the final round, which included a hole-in-one, to guide the Pirates to a fourth place team finish at the Nittany Lion Invitational on Sunday. Win had a hole-in-one on the par-3, fourth hole, and birdies on holes No. 12 and No. 14, in route to her second straight sub-par round. For the tournament, she placed sixth among 90 individual golfers with an even-par, 76-70-70-216. Win's hole-in-one is the first ever during tournament play for a Seton Hall women's golfer.
Win's third round, 70, is her fifth career sub-par round, which ties teammate Maddie Sager for the most in Seton Hall history. Furthermore, her 216 ties former Pirate great Ali Kruse for the lowest three-round, par-72 score ever for a Pirate. It's Win's ninth career top-10 finish.
It's the second time in Win's career that she has been named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week.
Win and the rest of the Pirates will return to tournament action this weekend for two rounds of golf at the Princeton Invitational.
