Gasser Named to Final BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Seton Hall senior Haylee Gasser (Mission Viejo, Calif.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

It's the third time this season and the fourth time in her career receiving the weekly distinction.

Gasser had an epic end to her stellar four-year collegiate volleyball career. In two matches last week, she collected a pair of double-doubles and led the Pirates in both kills and digs per set. On Friday against Villanova, Gasser had a double-double with a match-high 14 kills to go with 15 digs. On Sunday, Gasser helped Seton Hall rally from a two-set deficit to edge Georgetown in the nation's capital in five sets. She tallied a match-high 18 kills to go with 10 digs and two blocks. Her final performance pushed her over 800 total kills for her career.

Creighton's Jaela Zimmerman was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, while the Bluejays' Naomi Hickman was named Defensive Player of the Week. Creighton's Keeley Davis was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. Those joining Gasser on the Honor Roll include: Butler's Brooke Gregory, Marquette's Hope Werch, St. John's Efrosini Alexakou and Villanova's Allie Olsonoski.
