CORAL SPRINGS, FLA. – Seton Hall women's golfers Sarah Fouratt (Santa Maria, Calif.), Maddie Sager (Phoenixville, Pa.), Sammie Staudt (Coatesville, Pa.) and Lizzie Win (Sylvania, Ohio) were named to the 2018-19 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team on Monday.
A total of 1,097 women's collegiate golfers were recognized across Divisions I, II and III. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA to qualify is 3.50.
The Pirates have now had at least three All-American Scholars each year since 2013. Sager, Staudt and Win are all three-time honorees.
Collectively, the Seton Hall women's golf team had a banner year academically. The Pirates' 3.693 grade point average during the 2018-19 academic year was the highest for any Seton Hall athletic program. Furthermore, their current 3.664 cumulative GPA is also best in the athletics department.
