Seton Hall Adds Three Newcomers for 2019-20

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Head coach Clay White announced three additions to the Seton Hall men's golf team, James Bosworth (Simsbury, Conn.), Ian Lee (Johor, Malaysia) and Wenliang Xie (Zhaoqing, China). All three will begin playing this fall.
James is only the latest in a long line of Bosworth golfers for Seton Hall. His father Jamie played on the Pirates' 1992 BIG EAST Championship team, while his uncle Dennis was on the 2000 title team. The newest Bosworth is a four-time All-Central Connecticut Conference selection and a two-time top-5 finisher at the CCC Conference Tournament.
Lee transferred to Seton Hall after spending his freshman year golfing at Loyola University of New Orleans. At Loyola, he was selected to the SSAC All-Conference First Team and had a scoring average of 74.32. Prior to college, Lee was selected to be on the Malaysian National Team at the age of 15.
A native of China, Xie has spent the last four years attending Village Christian High School in California. A true freshman, he won the TTC College Showcase at Twin Oaks in 2017 and has had four top-5 finishes in the Toyota Cup series.

After five years as Clay White's right-hand man, Ian Lagowitz has been promoted to Associate Head Coach. As assistant coach, Lagowitz has been instrumental in Seton Hall's improvement in recent years. Furthermore, White announced the addition of J.T. Harper as an Assistant Coach. Harper played parts of three years for the Seton Hall golf team, 2013-15, and was one of the top performers in the BIG EAST Conference.
