Pirates Battle in Loss to Drexel

New Providence, N.J. - The Seton Hall women's tennis team had to play short-handed Saturday in its match against Drexel and ultimately fell to the Dragons, 7-0, Saturday at Murray Hill Tennis and Fitness.

With multiple student-athletes battling injuries, the Pirates had to shift lineups and had to give up a point immediately by not having a competitor at No. 6 singles.

Still, the Pirates did battle valiantly with freshman Hiba El Khalifi (Casablanca, Morocco) coming closest to winning a set.

The Pirates will look to rebound and get healthy when they head to Ohio next weekend for a trio of matches, beginning with Akron Friday at 1 p.m.
