South Orange, N.J. - After St. John's defeated Creighton on Sunday afternoon, the Seton Hall men's basketball team has clinched at least a share of the BIG EAST regular season championship, the program's first since 1993. At 13-3, the Pirates hold a two-game lead over both Creighton and Villanova (11-5) with only two games remaining. The Hall's final two games are against both of those teams.
If Seton Hall wins one of its final two games, it will claim the regular season championship outright. The Pirates host Villanova Wednesday night at Prudential Center on Senior Night as the team will honor its four graduating seniors prior to the contest starting. Tickets to the game are still available at SHUPirates.com/SHUvsNOVA.
