
Seton Hall Finishes No. 15 in Season's Last Associated Press Poll

NEW YORK - The Seton Hall men's basketball team's season, abruptly ended by the COVID-19Â global pandemic, finished with an incomplete feeling, but the Pirates will hold on to a final No. 15 ranking for the 2019-20 season, the Associated Press announced Wednesday in its reveal of its final top-25 poll of the 2019-20 season.
The final ranking marked the 16th time this season that the Pirates were ranked in the AP top 25 out of a possible 20 weeks. It's the second-most rankings a Seton Hall team has received in one season, behind only the 1992-93 Pirates squad that was ranked in all 18 AP weekly polls.
Seton Hall also ended up inside the top-15 11 times this season, including as high as No. 8 back on March 2.Â
The Pirates went 21-9 overall and 13-5 in the BIG EAST Conference, earning the program's first league regular season championship since 1993. Playing the fourth-most difficult schedule in the country, the Pirates excelled all season with four wins over AP top-25 teams, seven BIG EAST road wins and 10 wins against NCAA NET "Quadrant 1" teams.Â
In addition to the No. 15 ranking in the AP, Seton Hall's other ratings also ranked among the best in the country:
