Jakubowski Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

For the second straight week, the Pirate setter lands on the prestigious conference list.
NEW YORK – For the second straight week, Seton Hall's Taylor Jakubowski (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

Jakubowski was a force both offensively and defensively for the Pirates last week in two road BIG EAST contests. The setter collected a par of double-doubles, running her consecutive streak to four. On Friday at Xavier, Jakubowski had a rare 20/20 double-double registering 27 assists and 24 digs. She also had four kills and no attack errors. In Saturday's victory at Butler, she had 16 assists and 15 digs to go with four kills and no attack errors.

Marquette's Taylor Wolf was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, while Xavier's Ellie Chaffee earned Defensive Player of the Week. Creighton's Norah Sis earned Freshman of the Week honors. Joining Jakubowski on the Weekly Honor Roll are Butler's Jaymeson Kinley, Creighton's Jaela Zimmerman, Georgetown's Peyton Wilhite and St. John's Rachele Rastelli.

Seton Hall will remain on the road this weekend when it heads to the Central Time Zone for a pair of BIG EAST contests. The Pirates will travel to Chicago on Friday for a match at DePaul at 8:00 p.m. ET before visiting Marquette in Milwaukee on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. ET.Â
