Pirates Celebrate Seniors Before Battling Villanova

South Orange, N.J. - The Seton Hall women's tennis team honored its two seniors, Minja Gligic and Hermehr Kaur, on Sunday at the Campus Courts at Ivy Hill Park prior to its BIG EAST match against Villanova. The Pirates lost the match, 4-0.

Continuing to be plagued by injuries, the Pirates only fielded four athletes in the match, and due to the clinch rule, the Pirates were unable to pick up a victory on the day even though sophomore Hiba El Khalifi was leading at No. 4 singles at the time that Villanova secured enough points to win.

Seton Hall will next head to the BIG EAST Championship, learning its seed on Monday and then traveling to Cayce, S.C., for a Thursday match.
