Acevedo Named to Men's Golf All-BIG EAST Second Team

NEW YORK – Seton Hall men's golf senior Andres Acevedo (San Antonio, Texas) was named to the All-BIG EAST Team on Friday.

Acevedo is coming off a strong senior season, which included his first-ever top-5 performance, a tie for fifth at the 2021 BIG EAST Championship. His even-par, 70-74-72-216, was his best effort of the spring and earned him placement on the All-Tournament Team. Acevedo maintained a team-best 74.17 scoring average for the year, which ranked eighth-best among all golfers in the BIG EAST Conference. Furthermore, he was the only Pirate to have all 18 of his rounds this year count toward team scoring.

Acevedo has announced he will return to Seton Hall for a fifth year of golf beginning this fall.
